I don't think you are evil for saying you would prefer to have a girl. You would def love your son if you had a little boy, for sure! When I was pregnant...I naturally hoped for a girl and DH hoped for a boy. We both knew we would love the child either way. We also only want two children and we had a little boy, who I love to death! We are both hoping for a little girl next time. If it doesn't happen, it doesn't...we are done and will be happy with our children.

I only find it weird if someone is really vocal about it. I have a friend whose DH couldn't even talk after finding out they were having a dreaded X chromosome. He still talks about how mad he was about her.
I admit I really had no preference and for #2 I truly have none either.
