Opinions on supplemental nursing systems

So after reading what seemed like forever I came across this and was wondering what you ladies thought about this? I'm really convinced my issue is my supply and I would love to just offer the breast for each feeding and nothing else. Instead of me offering him the breast, then supplementing then pumping. Wouldn't this way help with supply issues and have him just prefer the breast? Sorry to keep bugging you ladies I just really want things to work out breastfeeding and need some guidance, TIA I really appreciate it! :)

  • We did it for a week or so and it is a PITA to get set up. But we are now 7 wks in with a successful breastfeeding relationship so far.

  • I used a SNS for the first 3 weeks because he wasn't gaining weight. I think it kept me from giving up on bfing. I know people feel the opposite, but I looked at it as I was going through all the hassle, I wasn't gonna quit. My lo is now 4 months and we are ebf, which I'm so thankful for
