Who went shopping? What was your best deal?

So far I got a new camera for $99 bucks (normally over $200) new balance sneakers for 23 bucks (normally $60)

I bought online since I refuse to shop in store today

they had kobo ereaders on for 99 (Canadian), that was 100 off, I bought one for my mom and MIL (each, not to share!)

I bought a ramps for my husbands truck for 77 normally 200, a remote controlled ceiling fan for 60 normally 170 and a new faucet for 90 regular 200.

But I'm in Canada where we have no holiday but retailers have sales anyways

Thanks! Is the Kobo better than the Kindle? I'm not very knowledgeable about e-readers!
