I made thanksgiving Monday for DH and I because he had to work today. But luckily he was able to get off and now were having thanksgiving at a friends. Bringing a pie. Just looking forward to dessert since I've been eating thanksgiving food for 3 days now.

My pumpkin pecan cheesecake looks AMAZING but I haven't taken a picture yet...will update in a bit when I transfer it to the travel case for our long commute...across the street lol.

@imrachellea did you pay a arm and a leg for you pecans? On the news they were talking about how they are a all time high since the rain ruined most of the crops.

@eggerkr I'm not sure. DH bought them for me in bulk at Sam's Club as I had plans to make the cheesecake and also sugared pecans for Christmas. I want to say it was around $9 for the 4-5 lb bag? Definitely better priced there than any other store for the amount you get.

Here's the sour cream coffee cake I finished this morning. Reese Cup brownies were made yesterday. Next up? Sweet potato casserole and broccoli casserole.

@imrachellea that's not too bad! I bough the store brand already chopped and it was $7! I got quite the lecture from DH... He asked if I was"nuts" for buying a $7.00 bag of nuts.

This was our table (with Hanukkiyah lit for night 2). I'm now delirious on couch in a food coma. Pumpkin and pecan pies with coffee and eggnog to come around 8 PM. Happy Thanksgiving, Bumpies.

We live in Savannah so I make Paula Deen everything! Here's my pumpkin pie, not the prettiest one I've ever made but still tastes good. My mom cooked everything else and I forgot to take a pic of the spread. She was also nice enough to leave all the leftovers for DH and I!

I forgot to take pictures but I made a sweet potato cassarole and baked beans. Both turned out amazing but the real star was my cousins pumpkin cheesecake! It's eat off the floor good!
