Family vent!

Ugh! I just need to vent for a moment because I am about to scream!
We traveled with my in-laws out of town for thanksgiving, just arrived at DD's great grandmothers house to stay for the next 2 days. Well after a 2+ hour drive (I know not all that long) but without a nap it was time for DD to take a nap as soon as we got here. Well my MIL was supposed to bring the monitor from her house, and lucky for us, only brought part of it - so it is completely useless. Then on top of that great grandmother keeps shoving stuff in my hands as I am trying to get things together to put DD down for a nap. I walked out of the room and told her for the 5th time that I really needed to put her down for a nap. What does she do, follows me into the room where the pack n play is!! What part of I am going to put here down for a nap do you not understand?!
So now I am sitting outside the room listening to DD talk and not sleep and hoping she will fall asleep soon. Ugh! Great start to my thanksgiving!
