Yeast diaper rash?

Have any of you dealt with a yeast diaper rash?  I believe we are dealing with one, it looks like white pimples on his tush but isn't oozing.
We are traveling for the holidays so we can't get to the dr and I thought you ladies might have some insight.
Any feedback is appreciated.

DD had a yeast rash once, and we had to get a prescription cream to clear it. I thought I was told that if it was yeast only a prescription cream would work. This may not be true though.

Every now and then DS gets it but it is little red dots. I have a prescription cream to use when I see any signs. It typically goes away after one treatment.

We just battled one a couple weeks ago. I had to use Nystatin, a prescription for infections caused by yeast. It is an anti-fungal cream. I don't know if there is an over the counter substitute but I am sure you can ask a local pharmicist for help. The Nystatin was applied 4x per day, so inbetween those times we used Triple-Paste. Also, try rinsing his butt with water when he poops instead of using wipes. This helped dramatically for us. If you can't find an anti-fungal cream, at least get the Triple-Paste or even the purple Desitin. They both worked wonders.

My doctor just had us use over the counter lotramin - it is technically for athlete's foot, but it is just an antifungal cream and it worked great :)

DD had one a few weeks ago and it was little red spots in her diaper area and top of her thighs. We were also prescribed Nystatin, 3x per day. Cleared up within a couple days.

DD had a yeast rash a few weeks ago but hers were little red dots. She also got a Rx cream which did the trick but Lotramin AF works too if the doc just recommends an anti-fungal cream (in the foot cream section)

I've read that coconut oil is great for yeast type infections, but you may want to google the details. DS had one and we just kept up with his butt paste at every diaper change and changed him more frequently and it cleared up after a few days.

Little red dots for us. My pediatrician gave is permission to use a tiny bit of Monostat 7 on her. We just had another one reappear so I'm starting to apply every other diaper change.

We had one a few weeks ago and coconut oil cleared it up. I mixed coconut oil and breast milk and applied it at every change and also let her 'air out' as much as possible. GL

Unfortunately we have been dealing with the yeast rash as well. We were prescribed nystatin and I also use baking soda water for his baths. As a home remedy I use a mixture of water, vinegar and some mashed garlic and I put his wipes in that mixture and wipe the areas a couple times a day. Also if you do not have nystatin or run out you can use over-the-counter antifungal cream.
You might wanna check inside LO's mouth for any white spots. Would mean they have yeast infection in mouth and would need prescription liquid nystatin. Bum area won't clear til mouth does
