I am getting sick of having to tell my DH we have to be somewhere a half an hour earlier than we really have to be because he is ALWAYS late. He doesn't understand that we are on other people's time. He works hard so I am an advocate for having time to decompress but jeez! He will start a freakin video game or be on the computer 5 minutes before we have to leave. I might "accidentally" step on his xbox game.

    Phew, that felt good.
Story of my life. I told him my ultrasound wasn't until 10:30 this morning instead of 10, so I knew we would be on time. Worked like a charm.

  • Loading the player...
  • Dirty clothes everywhere so I have to pick them up and then decides to tell me "oh I have no clean pants" you know where the washing machine is wash them!
Shoes and coat where ever he fancys leaving them so I end up putting them away
Leaves Hair in the sink when he shaves
And the lid off the toothpaste
And when I mention these things I'm just moaning [-X not cool.

But I'm pretty sure I do things that drive him crazy lol
  • lol I am guilty of the dishwasher thing. I am not a kitchen cleaner, that is DHs domain. I will not let him clean the bathrooms because he does not scrub the toilet. He also does not close cabinet doors and IT DRIVES ME NUTS!

Huh, I do half the stuff you guys hate and DH gets annoyed. It's more a function of personality than gender. He cleans better and more often than I do.
Huh, I guess many of our SOs have similar personalities.  I'm sure our SOs could come on here and do a similar thread about our annoying habits because we all have them.

That being said it is nice to see that I'm not the only one that gets annoyed at little things DH does.  Like not fully closing the cabinet door where the garbage is stored which leads to the dog getting into the trash, leaving a trail of items wherever he goes instead of putting them away, throwing his clean and dirty clothes on the bottom of his closet in a huge heap, leaving dishes on the counter right next to the empty dishwasher.

He also does all of the yard work, splits cooking duty, takes care of the dog and takes complete responsibility of the rental house we own.  He still comes out on top.
It is just idiosyncrasies that annoy us. DH and I split the housework 50/50.

  • OMG peeing in the toilet! I fully understand that I'll have to deal with this twice as much with a baby boy on the way, but how difficult is it? I can't even aim and everything ends up in the toilet. I used like a cup of bleach on our toilet rug and it still smells funky. Ugh, men!
