Happy Weekend! Plans?

Hey everyone, so sorry I'm posting this so late today. So instead of Happy Friday, lets just have a Happy Weekend thread. Any plans for the weekend? Is anyone traveling already? Hope you all have a good weekend and safe travels to those on the road. GL to the TTCing ladies, and T&Ps to those who need them!

M and I went out for a play date/lunch earlier today with 2 other moms and their LOs.  Tomorrow we're meeting another couple friend and their 10.5m daughter for dim sum in Chinatown (can't wait!).  Sunday I invited ILs over for lunch.  They just moved out to our area this week; previously they were 3 hours away.  

Banana nut bread baking in the oven right now.

This weekend will be a boring one I am hoping to go to the zoo, they are giving some of the animals turkeys as an enrichment activity. Other than that we will be packing and cleaning to get ready for the holiday.

Mh got home today, and we're going out for date night tonight to a fancy French restaurant for my bday (tomorrow.) Tomorrow we are going to my aunt and uncles for an early thanksgiving. My cousin and her LO are in town so I can't wait to get the girls together again. Sunday I'm going to see Hunger Games with my BFF. Busy, fun bday weekend for me!

DH's b-day is Sunday, I plan on making him breakfast in bed. We also need to go to a 6yo's b-day party that day. Fun times.

I have to work this weekend. DH is going to a course on Saturday for work and DS has been sick and infecting everyone in the house. So, not much fun going on this weekend. Hope everyone is well for Thanksgiving though!

I went back to work part time this week so have been off thurs and fri. Today we had a weight check, play date and went grocery shopping. Nothing planned for this weekend, although in sure my mil will come over at some point. We're staying local for thanksgiving so nothing until thurs. DH is already complaining about going. Annoying. He wasn't real close to his family and they never really did stuff together so he gets overwhelmed at my family stuff bc we do a lot together. Hoping for some showings on the house!

We are STILL moving in. And after 10 days of 3-4h of sleep most nights I am currently 2h into sleep retraining now that LO has a crib again....

DH is doing a long running race tomorrow. It is just like a weekday for me. Sigh. I can't complain too much because we just got back Wednesday from a great vacation. However, because of the race he isn't drinking tonight, so I will be going solo on a glass of wine

There is a big consignment sale going on this weekend. I was thinking about taking J tomorrow. Sunday I'm doing some volunteer work in the morning. 

I also made a grocery list while DH was sitting with J for dinner. She and I are going to do some batch cooking tomorrow!

Sunday is church then lunch at the inlaws.
