doc says too soon...

My cute, adorable doctor called me this morning to see how I was holding up. I told him I was pretty sure AF was on her way and that I tested yesterday and got *another* BFN. He said I had no business testing until I missed a period. He wasn't rude, he and I go way back and even know him personally/socially so he was kidding, but not really. He told me if I hadn't started by Sunday, to test on Tuesday morning (unless I started Monday). 

Maybe I feel a little better...maybe not. It is what it is and I've decided that I'm blessed with an awesome husband and we need to enjoy our lives. If it's just going to be him, me and the dogs, then we'll have a good life together.

Still holding out hope today that...it was just too soon. 

Thanks for all the encouragement and support yesterday. I felt all the love :)

    It's not over till it's actually over, so try holding out to test again when the doc said to test and then go from there!! GL!

    IVF #1 - May 6 - Estrace
    May 17 - started injections!
    ER and ET end of May!! BFFN :(

    Beta #1 - 164, Beta #2 - 381
    1st u/s 7/16/13 - 2 sacs with yolks! 1 smaller than the other - Possible Twins?! 
    2nd u/s 7/26/13 - 1 healthy baby with heartbeat of 123bpm! Second sac empty. Next u/s 8/5/13.
    8/5/13 (7w2d) - no heartbeat. Lost our precious LO :-/
    D&C on 8/12/13 - finally neg hcg 2 months later on 10/3/13.
    Saline Songram on 10/10/13 - found polyp :-( post-poned again.
    Hysteroscopy on 10/29/13.
    FET #2 - BFP!!!! :-) 
    Beta #1 - 265, Beta #2 - 692
    12/24-12/28 (6w) - lost our LO (2nd miscarriage in a row)
    RPL panel and Karyotyping; results all normal!
    Started bcp's 1/24/14; saline sonogram 1/30/14 - All clear!!
    IVF #2 02/15/14; ER 02/26/14 - freeze all due to mild OHSS. 
    7 blasts; PGD on all 7 - all 7 normal!!!
    FET #3 4/8/14; BFP!! :-)
    Beta #1 - 235, Beta #2 - 539
    1st u/s - It's TWINS!!!!
    2nd u/s- both babies measuring on track! Heartbeats of 118 and 122!!
    EDD: Christmas Day!!!

    How cool that he called to check in! It sounds like you and I might be in a similar position right now...everything's riding on this cycle, and it's just DH and me if it doesn't work. End of the road. I'm trying to stay positive. And I don't know how to prepare for potentially bad news. It's too big.

    Began TTC #1 in Sept. 2010. I was 33, DH was 36.. Dx with DOR and slight MFI (8/4/11).

    Test results (after first RE visit 6/21/11): 7DPO b/w: Progesterone = 11.3; CD3 b/w: FSH = 10.1 mUnits/mL, E2= 52.0 pg/mL, AFC: 6; SIS Ultrasound: Uterus great, tubes clear! AMH: 0.3 

    IUI#1 June 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN 
    IUI#2 July 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): BFN 
    IUI#3 August 2012 (Follistim/HCG trigger): CP (Beta #1: 4.61, Beta #2: 1.0) 
    IUI#4 October 2012 (Follistim, ovulated before trigger, missed IUI, converted to TI): BFN 
    Jan. 2013 New RE
    IVF #1 June 2013 MDL Protocol. Converted to IUI#4.1. (High E2 and 3+ mature follicles at first monitoring.) BFFN
    IVF #1.2 August 2013 Stop Lupron Protocol with Human Growth Hormone added. 17R, 14M, 9F (with ICSI), 2 embryos (decent quality - grade 2) transferred on day 3, 2 blasts made it to freeze. Beta 8/26. BFFN :'(

    FET #1 December 2013 Last try! Transferred 2 blasts -- graded 3AB and 4BB. Beta #1 (12/27/13) 530. Beta #2 (12/30/13) 1876. BFP! One bean. EDD 9/3/2014!

    We welcomed the most beautiful baby girl into the world on September 11, 2014!

    He's just my GYN...there is an RE in his office, so he used his nurse to call in meds and we followed RE's protocol. But since the DS came ready for IUI, I trusted him to do the deed. I love him and am so comfortable with him, it just made sense. He told a mutual friend we have (who knows about my IF) that he prayed for me during mass the Sunday after he did our IUI. 
    Love him!!

    Wow!  What an awesome Dr.  I have only actually seen my twice in all of the IVF process.  Sending prayers your way for beta day.

    Dx: Poor Embryo Quality, Arcuate Uterus, Poor Uterine Blood Flow, Mild Endo, 
           Protein S Deficiency, Sjorgen's Syndrome 

    IUI #1-5: BFN
    Laparoscopy & Hysteroscopy: minimal endo, partial septoplasty
    IVF #1: 10R/6M/6F ~ Day 3 ET = BFN
    IVF #2: 14R/9M/5F ~ transfer canceled ~ all embryos arrested at 1-2 cell stage
    IVF #3: 9R/5M/5F ~ 1 frosty!
    IVF #4 (FET #1): BFN

    IVF #5 (DE IVF #1 with Dr. KK protocol): Currently PREGNANT!!!!!!
    Synthroid + Prednisone + Metformin + Baby Aspirin + Supplements Galore = 15+ pills a day
    Lupron + Lovenox + Delestrogen + IVIG + B/W = 2-5 pokes a day
    19R, 17M, 17F - transferred two Grade A blasts 11/16, four frosties!!!
    Beta #1 11/24 (13dpo/8dp5dt) = 367 ~ Beta #2 11/26 (15dpo/10dp5dt) = 709
    Beta #3 11/29 (18dpo/13dp5dt) = 1,997 ~ Beta #4 12/1 (20dpo/15dp5dt) = 3,403

    DX: MFI-Very Low Count, I have Hashimotos.
    IVF prep September 2013 cancelled due to Ovarian Cyst
    IVF #1 October 2013 Antagonistic Protocol with ICSI  ER 10/31/13 (18R 16M 11F- 6 blasts to freeze)
    ET delayed due to OHSS 
    FET scheduled for July 8. Delayed due to a crazy high TSH (it had been under control for YEARS!)
    FET #1 8/5/14 sET BFN

    07/13 gonal-f + trigger + b2b iui = bfn
    08/13 bravelle(slow response) switched to menopur + trigger + b2b iui = bfn
    10/13 - IVF#1 w/ ICIS. ER= 10/29/13 (21R 10F 6 blasts made it to freeze)
    11/25/13 - FET #1, transfer 2=bfn

    5/28/13- IUI #1 50 mg Clomid BFN
    6/25/13 IUI #2 50 mg Clomid BFN
    7/27/13 IUI#3 50 mg Clomid BFN
    8/8/13 waiting to meet with the RE to discus IVF
    11/9/2013 IVF#1 canceled, only 1 follicle  :(
    12/26/2013 Starting Lupron for IVF#2
    1/21/2014 Retrieval but we still only had 1 follicle so only 1 egg. Fingers Crossed!!!
    2/5/2014 BFP!! Betas 39, 54, 217, 1681 Slow rising but this is the little egg that could :)
    2/19/2014 1st U/S at 6w1d showed us at 5w4d but yolk sac, gest. sac and the beginnings of a fetal pole identified. 
    2/26/2014 2nd U/S at 7w1d showed us at 6w4d and we saw a heartbeat!!! 133. RE says it's time to move to OB
    So far everything is looking good :)
    5/29/2014 It's a Girl!!!! :)
    7/6/2014 Failed my glucose tolerance tests, diabetic diet it is
    9/30/2014 Scheduled C-Section for Placenta Previa and she's perfect
