This is just so so tragic and heart breaking. Is there any new development on the relationship between the mother/children or the status of any of the children?
This is so, so awful. There hasn't been an update about the relationship between the woman and the children. The latest update was that they got the first child out after being underwater for 25 min and the last child after being underwater for 45 minutes. No update on their status, I'm checking back every few minutes.
@CourtandNate - exactly. I just have this horrible sick feeling....what if that had happened to me and DS? Ugh.
They have named the woman and all of the children. They are all her kids. 2 of the kids were taken to Amplatz Children's Hospital and the other 3 were taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. No news on how they are....
I just pray there's no foul play in any of this... still everything about it is devastating. I would have preferred to have died with my children than go on living that nightmare for the rest of my life.
I read that the children were hers and step children. 4 have survived but the story didn't say what condition they are in. Praying for a positive outcome for them.
I have been watching this on the news all night, crying
2 children have died now, the 5yo and 7yo. people are saying they have no idea where she was taking the kids so early in the morning. makes you wonder?
I know...I hope she didn't do this on purpose. She lived in Brooklyn Center, but was in St. Louis Park at 6:10am heading north on Hway 100.... just so weird. Most daycares in the area don't open until 7am. It is so sad. Can you imagine being the other mother??

Wow, I never put 2 and 2 together! it doesn't make any sense. I just can't imagine, it's so horrific... One of my coworkers also mentioned today that the car she was driving couldn't have possibly been big enough for all of the car seats the children would have needed. The whole story is just so bizarre =[
Re: So, so sad
This makes me sick to my stomach. Those poor children.
