PSA: Kmart closing - huge sales

I'm not sure how many of the Kmarts are closing but I know a couple of the ones around Chicago are right now. If you live near one, you may want to check. I happened to be near one yesterday as my Dr is across the street and I noticed a huge "Store closing" sign on the outside. I never go to Kmart but thought I'd check it out. Everything in the store is on sale - even all the Christmas stuff (although I wonder why they even brought all the xmas stuff in if they knew the store would be closing...)

I know there has been a lot of talk about kitchens and they did have several there and all were 30-40% off and some had already been marked down (so the discount is off the lowest ticketed price). I got the Fisher Price Servin' Surprises Kitchen and Table for $35! I also got her some other toys and a pool and slip n slide thing for next summer (ok maybe that's more for me and H! haha) - but everything was SUPER cheap.

Ours is still open. I don't shop there often, but it's the closest store to our house so it's nice to have when you need something quickly. I hope it doesn't close!

I know. I'm really upset about this. I love our Dominick's and its right across the street. Now I won't be able to get my Starbucks while I grocery shop
