Faint Positives

Is anyone almost a week past their missed period and still having super faint positive tests?

I still can't get a dark test...but hey, a line is a line (as long as it's in the timeframe)

That happened to me- and my husband wouldn't believe that I was pregnant. I took another test a week later and got a darker line, which then convinced him!

Thanks ladies!  I'm not exactly sure when I ovulated, but I am currently 5 days passed my missed period.  The only test that is really showing a clear line (still faint, but definitely there) is FR but any other test is showing lines so faint I would mistake them for negatives (still).

No I called my doctor and told the nurse that I was getting very faint positives (specifically on the FirstResponse brand) and she said that was normal, that some people don't get dark/bold lines until 8-11 weeks (but I did not have this issue with my past pregnancy with DS).  I called this morning again to get my confirmation US scheduled (waiting for a CB), hopefully they will do it soon so I can know what's going on.  I can't tell you how many sticks I've peed on, I'm definitely worried/obsessing a tad, because like I said I didn't have this issue with DS. :-\

It doesn't help either that I was having major pregnancy symptoms (sore breasts, nausea, sensitive to certain smells), which all seem to have disappeared as well.  Still getting faint lines on the FR though, took my last test last night.

Well made my confirm US appt for Dec 12th, FX that it's a sticky baby.  Doctors office said a positive test is a positive, and that I could come in for a test there, but that the blood test was costly and they didn't think I needed it...

The blood tests are not standard unless you have a history of losses or are going through fertility treatments.
