Re: Amazing Newborn Twin Bath Video

  • I saw this today. It made me think back to when my girls were first born. I miss it.

  • It's a very sweet video, though I find it mildly eery, but am I the only one who's had approximately 1000 people send it/tag me over facebook?

  • I agree, it is a little eerie and it also made me tear up!  I can't even remember mine being that tiny…so sweet.
  • So sweet

  • It made me laugh a little because our u/s showed way more punching and kicking than hugging haha. All boys from the start I guess.

  • The babies are adorable but I think I'm more amazed at the adult holding 2 squirmy babies perfectly partially submerged.
  • I thought it was so cool but my girls are way to wild to do that. Penelope would have tried to drown Evie. :)

LOL you're not the only one....

It is super sweet, though I have to agree w/ PP that it does freak me out just a bit how she managed to hold them mostly submerged like that.....and my boys would never have been hugging like that....definitely either in the ignoring or punching each other camp. :-P

  • Ok...I'm such a worrier lol. I know the Today show clip said it was performed in hospital at only a few days old. What about the umbilical cords? When DD was born I was told not to get it wet at bath and definitely don't submerge it. The only thing I could think of while watching the video was of the cords lol

  • Someone linked that to me on Facebook. I had to be a jerk and point out that they're fraternal twins so they wouldn't have been in the same sac in the womb and therefore couldn't have been hugging in there. I ruin fun!
  • @iloveburritos
I thought the same thing--even most all identical twins would be separated!

Nonetheless, I have still watched it a few times.

I was really impressed at how smoothly they pulled the babies out at the end!
