I just dont understand...

Why would an invited guest bring an uninvited guest who is not known by the guest of honor....and then why when they RSVP they don't tell that they're bringing that someone else. You have to hear it from heresay. .... I CANT WAIT for this shower to be OVA! I'm not even planning it but its driving me bonkers.

    SIL didn't wants kids at her shower. One guest called me and I told her it was an adults only event. I even had DH take our toddler out for the duration of the party which was at my home. Two other guests brought their children without asking and ignoring who the invite was addressed to. I overheard them asking the polite mom why she didn't bring hers. She told them about her conversation with me. Awkward all the way around. Could have been avoided of people follow basic etiquette.
