Eleanora Juliette???

We would nickname her Nora. I just think the name together sounds so pretty (Juliette is a family name- my great aunt who was amazing) but I'm afraid people won't think it's a real name or that it's too much. I know the name itself isn't super popular, but Eleanor is and this is a variation. I get way too hung up on what others think sometimes =-)

FWIW, our last name is very simple and two syllables.

I think if you like it you should go for it. I think Eleanor, your variation, and Nora are all wonderful names. Juliette is classically pretty. Good luck.

It's a bit of a mouthful for me, BUT after the newborn stage you don't say fn + mn together much. And you will be using a nn. I love both names so good choice!

My daughter is named Juliette and spelled this way too. So I am biased, but we love it -- the name is classic, uncommon and pretty. We call her "ju ju" or "ju ju be" for her nick name and it has stuck as the grandparents also call her "ju ju" often.

It's a bit too much/too frilly for my taste. I much prefer Eleanor Juliette (or Eleanora Julie, but since Juliette is a family name I would change the FN).
