best electric pump?

Looking to get a new pump... what would y'all recommend??

Re: best electric pump?

  • I used a Medela Pump in Style with my son for 13 months. I exclusively pumped so I used that pump quite a bit. It's worth the money.

  • I bought a Hygeia with my second but hardly ever used it since he wouldn't take a bottle. Be sure to check your insurance as it should be covered now.

    What should be covered?
A pump but they don't have to cover a double electric. With checking for sure

Yeah, call your insurance before you go spend money on a pump. Under the healthcare reform any plan that isn't grandfathered and renewed on or after 8/1/12 is required to cover breast pumps at 100%.
  • I met with the nurse the other day and she said to check to see if a new breast pump would be covered. With the new affordable care act your insurance company may be required to cover it.
