BFF just called asking for my help. Apparently one of her friends (who is away in the Army) called asking her to go get his sister. His sister (Sis from now on) stole her BFs phone before her BF left to hang out with his friends. Sis called her brother and told him that she's been locked in the apt for months and her BF is abusive. She wants to leave, but can't do it on her own. So, my friend is coming to get me (as moral support to her) while we meet police and get this girl outta that apt and to the airport. 

The cops will be with us.

We posted up at the address and waited for police. We told them our side, called the bro in TX and made him speak to police all before they went up to the house.

She wasn't there. And neither was the BF. The cops hung around for a bit. We thought we'd stay until asked to leave. They left first.

I have no idea what is going on with girl right now. ::sick::

Haven't heard anything further. The house is also occupied with her BF's parents and 2 brothers. So now they know the cops were called. My BFF is certain they won't notify the police when the girl shows up, but just sweep the whole incident under the rug.

I got all my info about the initial "call for help" 3rd hand. I think Sis probably meant her BF was keeping her away from family and friends (much like typical abusers do) and not ACTUALLY held captive. It was all very confusing.
