H and my ILs. SIL is coming this weekend. FIL is coming for the whole week of TG and MIL just asked if she could come before Christmas around 12/8. How could anyone think it's reasonable to take over someone's house for almost an entire month? No. You can't come.

I thought my parents were crazy for coming for a week around Christmas, but 3 weeks! That's crazy!! She can't be serious!
@BPaws. Congrats and best wishes for a happy and healthy 9 months.
My TW is the meds I'm taking in preparation for a FET next month. I'm only on day one and have a mofo of a headache. Either my body adjusts to Lupron or it will be a miserable three weeks.

Bpaws!! Did I miss an announcement?! Holy cow - congrats!!
Thanks doll face. It's still really new. You didn't miss the announcement because I didn't officially make it yet ;-) I was holding of a bit. Not that it's a giant secret with a ticker in my signature ;-)
Ackk....sorry! Didn't mean to throw that out there when you hadn't made an announcement, but I was so excited with your new ticker!!!
I'm feeling like I want to throw SIL under the bus again. So maybe I'm the twateriffic one, but our husbands are in a band and they had a gig Friday night. She shows up drunk after bar hopping with a mutual friend (ok fine don't invite me to pre party I don't care), barely talks to me the whole night, lost her phone and has MY husband track it down online and go pick it up at the bar the next day because she's going out of town and then doesn't even thank him.
It was his birthday too and she usually gives him a gift card to her own hotel restaurant, which is never our first choice for dining out so we never collect. AND she owes him money for designing her advertising. She only pays in gift cards to her sucky hotel!! Why would we need a room at a hotel in the city where we live?!?? So she basically gets her ads designed for free. Ugh.
My H. DD slept so terribly last night, waking up crying every 45 min or so from 11:30 until 4am. After I went in there twice, i told him "next wake up is yours." He goes in to soothe her back to sleep 30 min later, and when he comes back to bed, he takes NyQuil to help himself sleep! WTF! Then he's dead to the world and no help the rest of the night. Snored right through the rest of the wake ups. So I got out of bed about 6 or 7 times last night; he got up once. This morning he tells me he thought he was taking mucinex, not NyQuil but I call bs.
Me. When DD finally did get up this morning around 630 (i let her fuss for about 15-20 min while I finished packing lunches for her and me), she had a seriously poopy diaper, wet pjs and a terrible diaper rash. So bad she was cringing and wailing when I wiped her, which I HAD to do to get the poop off! Gah! I know she wasn't poopy at 330am cause I checked her diaper but I feel like the most neglectful parent ever for the time she had to spend in soiled pjs.

Are the babies possessed? I have seem so many of my FB friends talking about what jerks their kids were last night. Howell did great with the time change and didn't protest at all and then he slept like crap last night and woke up laughing at 5:30. Baby jerk.
Molars and ear infections that have decided to collaborate an attack on my poor baby's head and sinuses for the last week or so.
And the one-nap schedule. Eff you, one nap schedule. I can't get out of the house! He is up at 7, tired by 9am, but if I put him down, he will sleep for an hour and that's it for the day. And if he is in the car seat any time between 9am-11am, he will take a micro nap that leaves him miserable, and refuse to nap again for the rest of the day. So I have to push him to at least 11am, and try to fit in lunch before he goes down for 2.5-3 hours so that he doesn't wake up screaming like a banshee because he's starving. So pretty much, it's a war against the nap until 11am, then I'm stuck for nearly 3 hours, plus the time for lunch after he wakes up, and it's already 3pm by then and the whole day is shot.
My MIL, she starts her crap every year around this time. She makes holidays so freaking miserable because she acts like a 2 year old. She's throwing a pity party right now because she says she never gets to see Hudson and she's so sad for herself. Since the day he was born she has seen him a total of 10 times and she lives 10 minutes away. They are in the process of moving to Florida, she's telling everyone that will listen it's because we don't want her in H's life and she needs a fresh start....
I would also like to nominate that damn molars and canine teeth that are making my poor child so freaking miserable. I don't understand why teething has to be so cruel!!

I woke up on the wrong side of the bed. I've been really short and naggy and rude to the kids all day. I have GOT to snap out of it. Plus last night I was a total tool to H and acted like a baby about it. I'm a twat.
BUT I guess I can really blame twatty Aunt Flo. She's back after a 45+ day absence. Joy.
DH is not really a TW, but he is out of town for work this week and this is not a great week for it because we started a kitchen remodel yesterday, so the contractor ripped out our entire kitchen.
I left work early yesterday to pick up DD (DH usually picks her up) and come home to find that one of my dogs (who had been in our bedroom because of the remodel) puked in our room. And then I realize that the contractor turned off the water (it turned out to be an oversight and someone came back an hour later to turn it on). So I fed DD in the dining room, cleaned up dog puke, walked everyone in the dark since the time just changed, bathed and put DD to bed, and then washed our dishes in the bathroom sink. Fun times!
I really shouldn't be complaining since I've been wanting the kitchen remodel for awhile and I'm excited about it, but it was just a crazy night. Hopefully tonight will be better - I think DD and I might go out to dinner, just the two of us

Haha!!!! I'm sure she would take one, she has no friends down there and if your MIL likes to drink and hang out on the beach then they should get along just fine!

Wouldn't that have been great? I usually make this recipe with regular buttermilk instead of powdered plus water. Hang back a couple tablespoons of buttermilk so it's slightly thicker than pancake batter.
I love that they are 100% whole grain. Make the blackberry syrup or don't. They're great either way.

I think I'm going to make carrot cake waffles for breakfasts for the rest of this week, just because of the title of this thread.
