Flabby belly?!

I had a little flab pre preg nothing major but I've just noticed the bottom of my belly has gone flabby.. My skin has defo stretched a lot and I have bad stretch marks but really I don't want saggy skin after aswell so now am worried!
I know she's head down already I had a 4d scan at 32 weeks and she was head down..
I'm 36 weeks today ..
Does anybody else have this? Is it normal.. and do you know of it will go away after I hope so! :(

I have this a little too. I've been lucky to not get many stretch marks, but I do have the little flab at the bottom. I don't know if it's normal or not! I hope so, and it's not an indication of what that area will look like post baby belly :-/

  • Welcome back, Hannie..... I have no idea what's going on with your stomach but only time will tell how it will look post-partum. Maybe you should take up crossfit to get back in shape? ;)
  • Thanks :)
I've prob made it sound worse that it looks.. You can't tell by looking its feeling, like its hard but at the very bottom feels empty..
    What's crossfit?
I was going to do an LBT class they are good for toning
  • I have it too! I didn't have it with DD, but I have it this time. So I'm not sure if it will go away for us fast enough, but surely it will go away. I'm not too worried about it. ;)

  • I've had three kids and have always been left with a little 'mommy pooch' even after my stomach went down and I lost weight. But from what i've seen & read, its possible to get rid of if you work your butt off and do the right exercises. I've just never been that motivated but maybe after this kid! Google 'bikini body mommy'. She's an inspiration :)

  • I have this. I have had it after my son was born 12 years ago and it never went away. :( it's like a little pocket of flab just hanging there during pregnancy .
  • My skin feels like it's going to burst it's so stretched. Everyone is different so try not to stress. My stomach went back to normal after having DS so you may not have anything leftover after having your lo.

  • I've had friends say to get that belly band thing to hold it together post pardum. Someone posted a question about it a few posts ago. If you have that pouch or suspect that you might, it may be a good investment for you... But you seriously have to like live in that thing.

  • Meh, i think diet and excersie will play a bigger part than wearing a belly band everyday
