Vehicle help!!!

Trying to decide between a ford edge or kia sorento and I am at a stalemate.  I just have one child and he will be the only one.  So I was curious if anyone could give me pros and cons on either vehicle from your experience. Thanks!!!

I considered most of the vehicles discussed here, and ended up going with a slightly used Toyota highlander. I love it! A lot roomier than some of the others, third row.

We have had an Edge since 2010. We love it. The seats are incredibly comfortable, it's a quiet ride and has responsive handling for a bigger car. The cargo space is pretty nice as well.
