We are still considering a Home birth, but haven't hired our midwife yet. The hosptial that we delivered DS at was fantastic and my DH doesn't see the need to have a home birth since our hospital was over the top accommodating towards us for DS birth. (Which I totally understand) However, we had our AS scan this past month and they told me I have a Marginal Cord Insertion with an Anterior placenta. My midwife told me that it won't hinder my chances of going naturally, just that they need to be aware of it when I birth the placenta.
My question is... Has anyone had issues with Marginal cord insertion with a homebirth/natural birth? Also, how will a Anterior placenta effect my LO's position? Will we still be able to use rebozo for optimal positioning? Any information would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!
