So today I had an ultrasound to check on my follies. I was so nervous for the outcome, bc if they were big enough I then went to my doc for a trigger shot. Which I did. I, of course took a picture of the print out the tech gave me, so now I can be crazy and look up all those numbers. So what do all the numbe mean? Looks like I had two on each side. Then each one has a mean value measured in mm. Then each has d1, d2, d3 measured in mm. Those three numbers where the ones she pointed to and said they look good.
So it looked like this:
Follicle 1: mean value 22.7mm, d1:23mm, d2:21mm, d3:24mm
Follicle 2: mean value 18.7mm, d1 20mm, d2:18mm, d3:18mm
Follicle 1: mean value 16.7mm, d1:19mm, d2: 13mm, d3:18mm
Follicle 2: mean value 14mm, d1:16mm, d2: 10mm, d3: 16mm
Feedback appreciated
IUI is tomorrow morning, staying positive and planning to lay low the rest of the day.
Interesting, I don't know what the d1, d2 or d3 are about. Maybe each follicle was measured three times each and then the mean value is the average? Either way, sounds like you have 2 or 3 that will be ready to go. Good luck!
My re takes 2 measurements of the follie so up down and side to side. So say 20mm and 17mm add those together 37 and divide by 2 and the consider the follie to be 18.5.
This is the same as what my RE does too.
