How long did you keep up a high protein diet?

Hello!

Thanks ladies :)

  • Siggy Warning

My nurse says after ET you're considered PUPO, so you need to act and eat like you're pregnant. The protein dropped a wee bit down to 60g down from 80g. I am tired of protein lol. Good luck :-) ER is tomorrow right?

Thanks for the info, girl! I've been eating a ton of calories to get 80-90 grams of protein! 60 should be more manageable for sure. That's the plan, we have our pre-op appointment in 50 minutes :) I'm still praying and keeping my fingers crossed. I'll relax for 10 minutes when these eggs are out, and then worry about the fert report ;)

I hope you're doing well :) Love seeing your ticker!

That's great... I've been eating a lot of carbs lately (not meaning to, but cereal and granola bars are easy and quick snacks when hungry)

  • I started eating high protein while on BCPs and went even higher during stims.
That's an interesting article, @jbasore1123 thanks for sharing.
My acupuncturist wanted me on a Traditional Weston Price diet. I haven't been able to go all the way, but I have been gluten free during stims and eating more eggs, saurkraut and cheese (I'm a vegetarian!)

  • I'm not getting 25% a day though. It's more like 16-19% which is up a ton from my typical 9-12%
