Since my DH found out we were expecting, he's been treating me like a very fragile doll. He freaks out when the dogs come near me because he says "we have to keep them from stepping on your stomach." You know, because that's a habit of theirs. (Not. Ha) He also doesn't like me in a car except for when I have to, like going to work. He's so nervous for the little grain of rice.
Any other dads-to-be being a little overprotective?
Thankfully DH has been pretty calm. I don't think it's quite real to him yet but he's laid back all the time so I doubt he'll be too bad.
Me, on the other hand...that's a different story. I will most likely overanalyze everything for the next 9 months. Actually, for the next 18 years. Or forever. Lol it's just how I am but I try to keep my craziness to myself for the most part. Let's hope that trend continues.
My DH freaked when I got on the treadmill yesterday. Guess I need to send him to what to expect websites! On the upside he offered to take care of dinner tonight!
My DH was like that with DS since he was the first but so far this time he doesn't really care. He keeps saying " Everything will be fine if you do that" LOL. I wish he was way overprotective again. I got out of doing so many things last time when he was!
I haven't had much appetite in the last week or so, so when my DH asks me what I want to eat and I reply with a nothing he gives me a stare which basically forces me to get food lol.
I wish!!! Mine is being UNDERSENSITIVE!!! Ugh. My pregnancy hormones may be a contributing factor but still. I'd make a damn good husband if I were a man.

As sweet as it is we are not babies I just tell him thank you for the concern! Usually makes him feel good but stop at the same time!!
