Really? You don't think saying 32 is too old to be pregnant doesn't sound like stirring the pot?
Too old for what? To have a child and be a certain age? To sustain a healthy pregnancy? There is no cut and dry answer. Everyone's body is different and everyone's definition of old is different.

I'm confused...is that an attempted backtrack? Is it you or your sister (or Dr. Laura) who thinks 32 is old?

I know TONS of ladies that got pregnant at 40 or 41. Some because that's when they got married.. And some because it took them years and years of trying.. My husband is 39 and we are about to have our second child in 2 weeks.. I'm a lot younger but still.. There is no age limit to raise a kid.. Everyone should be able to experience being a parent and having a family. There shouldn't be a cut off.
I'm 40 and pregnant with my first and I don't think I'm "too old" to be pregnant, although I understand it's later than most would want to do this.
I do think there is something as "too dumb and ignorant" to be pregnant, but that's hard to quantify. It's more of an "I know it when I see it" situation.
Damn, I should have consulted your sister, random Internet stranger, before getting KTFU. Can you ask her what I should do now that my aged uterus is occupied?
32? Lol. My mom was 42 when I was born, and I am perfectly healthy. My aunt who had been trying to conceive for years but had finally given up found out that she was pregnant at 50, and her baby turned out just fine.
With an obviously not serious question like this, which was clearly asked only to stir the pot, I can't help but wonder exactly how bored are you? Is this what you do all day?
Seriously? I bet 32 is about the average age ladies have babies nowadays. I can tell you I'm almost 31, most of my girlfriends are 30-34 and 90% of them are single and not in a relationship. They probably won't be having kids until they're 35-40 and thanks to modern medicine that is perfectly fine and not uncommon at all.

When I was 24, which was back in 2008 and I was still teaching, I taught my first year of seniors. This happened to be at a school that had the second or third highest teen pregnancy rate in the state.
When some of the girls, ones with babies particularly, found out how old I was, they would gasp and exclaim, "You don't have kids yet?! YOU'RE NOT EVEN MARRIED??!"
If I'm pregnant this cycle, this baby will be born juuuuuuust before I turn 32. Thank God I'm only planning to carry once! My partner's next and she's a year younger than me. Good thing too, because she can probably squeeze out another baby before she hits geriatric status as well.
Personally, I want to be done before 33. My Mom had my brother at 33 and he has Down Syndrome and as much as I love him he is a lot of work and DH and I are not as strong as my Dad and Mom.
It is my general opinion that 32 is a great age for other people to be having kids.
Some women never ovulate on their own. And many women go through premature ovarian failure...some Iin their teens and twenties. Plenty go on to get pregnant either through medical intervention or donor eggs.
OP - If you are serious, many women are not in a position to have children (either in their career, in a relationship and/or financially) until they are in their mid to late 30s or even 40s, but yet are still amazing parents.

Questions like this make me sad. Even though you're just being a lil troll
Maybe noone should have a say or speculation what other women do with their bodies(or their lives ladies who are blessed with babies in alternative ways)!! My vag, my uterus, my life, my choice!!
quiet frankly people who think they get to place their ideals on other women is a huge step backwards. We fought long and hard for the rights we have.
Sorry you feel like your body is "old" at 32.... That's going to make that last 40-60 years of your life feel VERY long!
Well if 32 is too old to have a baby, I better get a hold of my brother and let him know he better get on with having a baby with his fiance! Old fart's just about to turn 32 and we don't want the doctor looking at his lady in horror now do we?

32 is too old?? by no means!! at least you will have the resources to support a baby.. I would rather ask the inverse question 'How young is too young to have a baby'??

I realized too late this person is just a sad, and not terribly creative, troll. Look at one of her other extremely well-informed discussion topics:
