Is it sad that I think bathing a baby in the kitchen sink is more disgusting than peeing in the shower?  I mean, you wash dishes and food in that sink!!  I know this tends to be an UO, but I can't help it.  Of course, rinsing out the nastiness you find in the back of your fridge also goes in that sink, so I do understand my arguement has holes in it.  But, i just can't.... bloomin' bath be damned!

I mean, if I pee first, and then wash my hair / body, it's like the soapy runoff cleans the shower floor anyways so... yeah, I'm a shower pee-er, and I'm not afraid to admit it! 

If DH and I are showering together though, I would never pee with him there, that's when it becomes disgusting!

I will not do it if DH and I are showering together but if I am showering alone and I really have to pee I will, especially now that I am pg and have to pee every 5 mins!

Yep, I do. I remember when I was little, I had to go pee while in the shower and my mom was in the bathroom too at the time. I told her and she just said "Go in there". It opened up a whole new world for me!

I can't wait to show DH this when he gets home from work! FWIW, I occasionally pee in the shower when i'm alone. He thinks it's disgusting. Urine is sterile, I told him if it bothers him so much, don't lick the shower. IMO, the soap run off cleans it just fine. It's not like I pee in there when i'm not taking a shower at the same time!

No shame, I try to pee before I get in, but if the feeling strikes as I'm showering- I'm definitely not getting out to do it. BUT- only if I'm showering alone...haha H will pee when he gets in almost every time- but if I even tinkle a tiny bit if he's in there-- it's like I pooped or something disgusting. Weirdo.

Anyone else find that it is harder to pee in the shower now? As in, it's uncomfortable to not be sitting when peeing. I don't know what it is, but it does not feel good to pee standing anymore- it doesn't hurt, per se, but it isn't relieving, if that makes sense,

I don't usually pee in the shower, however there are times (especially during pregnancy) where even going before does not help! When I get in that shower it's like I have to pee sooooooo bad! There's just no way of holding it!

I find it quite the opposite! I never feel like it can fully empty my bladder when I am sitting on a toilet, so I have to squat/hover anyway. Standing and peeing in the shower is quite nice!

And I just outed myself - I'm a shower pee-er

If I didn't, I'd have to get out of the shower to go pee and that's not happening.

Haha this is a funny clicky! I am of the 'No way that's disgusting' camp and H and I discussed this before moving in together. It freaks me out because I'm usually the one cleaning the shower (even if urine is sterile).

To be clear... it isn't as if I stand at the back of the shower and piss all over the wall and tub.... it's while the shower is running and very close to the drain- so after about .2 - there are zero remnants of pee left. Pretty sure my hair from shaving gets more places than when I pee. hah. Just sayin.

I was super surprised by the results, interesting poll!!  DH does this all the time and what bothers me is the SMELL - gross!!  I just make a habit of always peeing while the water is running to get warm.

I don't make a habit of it, but it's a lot easier and warmer just to go in the shower than getting out.

I do some now that I'm pregnant. Showering seems to make me feel like I have to pee, and it just seems like so much work to get out of the shower or wait til I'm done. Before I rarely did.

Wait wait wait wait...he does it in a dry shower? THAT'S gross. I only do it while I'm actually showering, right into the drain. no smell.

DH and I had this convo the other night when DS1 peed in the shower (after DH told him it was okay) and I was all "WHAT THE HELL??" So gross.  Then he said he does it too.  Eww.  I've never once peed in the shower.  He said "when you gotta go, you gotta go"  and I proceeded to say "what are you, 5? you can't pee before you get in like a normal person??

Apparently, according to J14, he IS a normal person.  #youallbegross

Me and DH both pee in the shower. We never do if we are together. I heard it actually cleans the shower? Not sure if that's accurate. Also, it saves on toilet paper
