5 th disease or Coxsacki disease

So a student in the class next to me might have one of these diseases. We believe 5 th disease. Has the rash now

Anyone have any input. I am 6 weeks 5 days pregnant. I know they can cause MC.
Will be talking to my OB.

T&P.  We had it last winter and because LO had the rash and therefore wasn't contagious, we still took our trip to stay with family in Canada.  Wouldn't you know it DH and I both came down with it while we were there, and then his cousin announced that she was 5 weeks along!   We felt awful, and warned them that what we had is dangerous for pregnant people.  She luckily didn't catch it.  I think if you're practicing good hygeine and you keep an eye out for any symptoms, you should be fine.  Knowing it's around means you'll be able to catch it early, just make sure your doc is aware.  GL!

I spoke to my Dr and he said to keep away but he did not seem too worried and I am going in to get blood work done to see if I am immune to it or not.  I would rather be on the safe side.  So paranoid since my MC in Feb.
