We got a sitter so I think we are just going to our friends house. Last year we just played racko and monopoly and ate lots of food. It was fun and relaxing.

Weird crazy nest glitch! And it won't let me delete.

Anyways, I just realized today is NYE! We don't have any plans yet, though all of our friends are quite laid back in planning, so there's still time!

My mom's tradition is always to make seafood (usually crab or lobster) on NYE. And she usually eats Chinese food on New Year's Day (because they're open). But DH's family has a rule that they never spend money on New Year's Day because it's bad luck!

This is kinda cheesy I know, but DH and I make a huge bed on the floor, rent lots of movies and drink lots of wine. I can't wait!

We're going to go to dinner with some friends and then back to our house to hang out until midnight.  We don't have a sitter so DD will be with us.  That's the main reason we'll be at our house the rest of the evening.  I can put her to bed and we can watch TV or play Wii or do something boring

We go to my cousin's house and hang out with them and my sister's..and soon to be BIL.  We eat hor dourves (last year we did fondue), drink plenty, and play board games or just chit chat.  It's a nice way to bond with family and relax.  My mom is staying with DD tonight...so she will have fun too

We got to my parents house....we eat lots of snacky foods (all bad for us!) and we play board games all night and then watch the ball drop and go to bed.  Oh and we drink while playing board games...lol.  My Mom and Dad does not drink so this is an evening for DH and to let loose.  Although we don't get drunk, but we do have a fun time!

We are staying home. DD is not feeling all that well he is getting more teeth. If we go anywhere my DH's grandfather is not going to be with us much longer so we might go visit him. They sent him home yesterday with hospice.

MIL and FIL are keeping dd overnight (they asked to!) and we are having some friends over and making dinner and playing some cards and Wii and having a few drinks!

We will be packing.  We are all headed to the beach in the morning and won't be back until Sunday!  Can't wait!!!

This will be the first time in the 9 years that DH & I have been together that we have no NYE plans.  I thought maybe I could talk DH into some wine and staying up to watch the ball drop, but since he has to drive tomorrow morning and we're leaving early, he's probably going to want to hit the sack!  Boo!!

We were just planning on making a good meal and having some bubbly at home, but ILS called this week and requested an overnight with Jack.

So we are going out to an awesome resturant and then probably home to drink and snuggle.

I've made no plans. We're having beef stroganoff for dinner and after we put DD to bed, I'll probably straighten the house some, put photos on a USB stick for the digital frame I bought DH for Xmas, and finish up my Kodak gallery album to send out to people. I know, I'm a total dork this year!

We're going to meet my hubby downtown after work and see fireworks at Navy Pier.  They have a family celebration at 8:00.  Then we're headed home.
