T&P's please!

Woke up this morning around 2am with a really bad gallbladder attack. I've been struggling with it for the past couple months and this morning was the worst I've had. I went to the ER after calling to make sure my OB would be there due to what happened last time. She got me some pain medicine and monitored LO. Everything checked out great! LO was very active and was even giving the nurses a hard time trying to get her hear rate. She would move away from the Doppler or would kick it off. (Stubborn like her father already!) I was able to go home around 8 in the morning when pain went away and got some sleep. I'm still having small aches and pains but not too bad to have to go to hospital. I've been taking my pain meds she prescribed to me and it's helping. Just hoping I can keep LO to bake a few more weeks (I'm 35w5d) so lots of T&Ps are much apprieciated for me and LO she is still very active and moving around a lot which I take as a great sign! Thank u!

Thank u all! I will keep everyone updated as time goes on! It is scary to have pain and not be able to do much but I always remember to keep myself breathing and try to stay relaxed for babies sake! Right now pain is gone so I hope it stays that way till LO makes her arrival!

T&P for you and LO. I suffer from the attacks as well and will have surgery to remove my gallbladder after she is here. It is the worst pain and very scary. I too am on preventative meds so stay strong and I wish you the best so she stays in there as long as possible.

I had gallbladder attacks and had my gallbladder removed July 2012. What helped me the most in preventing extreme pain was drinking warm peppermint tea every night before bed. It helped with digestion so my body didn't attack me. Worst pain ever!!! I hope you feel better soon and that our baby makes it full term!
