Yes, its fine as long as youre not in the salon everyday and inhaling those products or something. I get gel manicures and really enjoy the time to myself to relax. It also makes me feel "pretty" and good about myself when everything else about my body is going crazy w pregnancy.
It's fine. I had them for my entire first pregnancy and most of this one. The main issue is the smells and whether or not you can handle them.
I don't recommend the new gel polish though. The fact that you have to soak your hands every timein acetone isn't the best thing for you, but regular acrylic or gel nails are fine.
Go for it. The only issue is that when you're recuperating, you'll be really busy and tired for weeks, and will probably neglect the crucial fill in. That's what happened to me last time. I think I'll just keep me natural, no acrylic and just get manicures from here on out, so they don't look lousy while I'm home with the new junior.

I use acetone wraps in my salon, hardly any gets on your skin. Most clients get 4 weeks out of the polish.
