Hi. We're excited to announce (here first) that we are pregnant with our second child. We have an amazing 9 month old daughter, and we are due on June 29th, to join the 2u2 crowd.

This pregnancy is a welcome kinda-surprise. We decided in the "heat of the moment" a couple weeks ago that we we're "ok with getting pregnant now" seeing as we had already planned on TTC "soon-ish".  After trying for 3 months with our first (temping, OPK, etc), who knew that one romp in over 1 month could be timed so well when I only kinda thought it might be in my fertile window (based on period only).  I think we're still in a state of happy shock.

About us.  I am intermittently active on the Jan 2013 board.  We're both in our mid-thirties (shhh, don't tell). I work full time in a very demanding field (tend to average 80-100hr/week) and DH is the most amazing SAHD.  He used to work manual labour type work, but being at home made sense for our family because he is so darned amazing with kids and the cost of childcare is prohibitive. He's a pretty manly-man with a soft touch, so no doubt our daughter will be fishing and helping dad with repairs around the house before they have a tea party with fancy hats (they will still have te tea party, don't worry).  Our daughter is wonderful and has recently decided that she wants to be so much more mobile.  She is working on her first steps (toooooo early).  We CD and did BLW, but aren't actually hippies.  She has always been an "easy" child, and has probably lulled us into a false sense of security with the idea of 2u2.

Oh, and we're way up here in (getting cold) Canada.  Hi everyone.
