Wow, it's already starting...

I work for a hospital and they require us to do certain health screenings through out the year.  They get to collect data on employees and we earn points towards financial rewards by being "healthier".  
Today was my biometric screening.  They do height, weight, blood pressure, cholesterol, glucose and this biometric scan thing.  Well, if you are pregnant, they cant do the scan - it puts electrical impulses through your body to get an estimate of % body fat. 

So I tell the nurse I cant do that part of the assessment because I'm pregnant.  She starts in with the questions:
How far along are you? is this your first? How old are your other kids?  You sure you want to start over?  Wow, you're crazy.  So...was it planned?   

I can only imagine if we find out we have more than one pea in the pod what the new battery of questions will be - so are they identical? how do you know?  are they natural?

Sometimes people should just mind their own business.  We haven't even told our families yet - my older children included - and I'm getting the third degree from some complete stranger.

    That person sounds obnoxious!  Some people just need to keep their mouths shut!  Sorry she was such an asshat :)

    BFP #1: 2/15/12-Ectopic/Mtx at 6 wks
    BFP #2: 10/12/12-m/c at 5 wks. 
    BFP #3: 8/27/13
    Me: MTHFR, Low AMH (1.1), High NK cells and Antiphospholipid Antibodies.
    DH:MFI-Low morph (1%), DNA fragmentation: Excellent!
    5 rounds of clomid, 3 IUIs, and multiple non-medicated cycles- BFFN                                                      
    IVF with ICSI in August 2013 brought us our babies.  ER-9R, 7M, 4F w/ICSI  ET of 2-Grade 2 blasts. 
    + HPT at 6dp5dt. #1 (8dp5dt)- 105    #2 (13dp5dt)- 510  #3 (15dp5dt)- 960  #4 (17dp5dt)- 1889
    Dx shortened cervix, PTL, and preeclampsia during pregnancy.  Lots of medications and 13 weeks of bedrest, babies were born healthy at 34w4d!

    People are just fascinated with pregnancies!

    My sister outed me this weekend at her engagement party. It was full of out of towners that are friends with her fiance so I didn't care too much, but oh man, all night people were coming up to me asking how far along I was, if I would find out if it was a boy or girl, if we had names picked out, etc etc. It was kind of exciting since only family knows at this point and I got to enjoy just being pregnant for a night!

    Your experience though is a bit different, that lady was borderline rude!
