How was everyone's weekend?

Is anyone else feeling like they'd rather just go crawl back into bed right now?

I spent this weekend traveling for my sister's engagement party three hours away. About 3/4 of the way down there I realize I forgot my estrace pills at home! D'OH! By that time it was soo late we couldn't drive back, so I spent the remainder of the trip googling if it was ok to miss one pill (spoiler: it usually is). I did have my PIO on me and we were able to do the shot in a rest stop (ew) and it left me with a golf ball sized bruise/welt. The next morning hubby and I got up bright and early and drove six hours to go get my damn pills lol. The rest of the weekend was just chaotic, but that party itself was nice! We didn't get home till 10pm last night. Oy, I'm going to be feeling that later today.

How about you guys? Did you do anything fun and exciting this weekend? And just sitting at home watching a Netflix marathon totally counts as fun and exciting to me

i had my 20th high school reunion and was actually feeling good enough to go for a few hours... although it was in a bar and i did feel weird about walking in there with a big old belly.  lol. 

i said to my DH before i went, "i bet i will be the only pregnant one" and he said "yeah, because everyone else had their kids 20 years ago".  had a good laugh at that one.

@katekat8721 I have forgotten my meds too! My estrace the other night and my PIO once last week too! The PIO was only a couple hours late "> but the estrace I just put in the next morning. I felt like such a dummy! After all these weeks on meds, you'd think it would be routine but nope.

I had a busy weekend and I am exhausted today! Katekat- you will definitely be feeling it soon!
I participated in a fundraiser walk for our local SPCA on Saturday (did not realize it was up and down large hills for 2 miles- I am out of shape!), dinner with friends on Saturday night and then spent yesterday at a pumpkin patch with my friends and their toddlers. Long days

DH and I skipped a wedding this weekend because I cried when I was trying to find an outfit. Seriously had a melt down. I never got a chance to lose the ivf bloat and now I have first tri bloat and my OB said not to diet so DH won't let me cut out carbs although carbs are the only thing I can stomach. It was such an epic fail I felt like an ugly cow. I wish I could get a bump already so at least I won't feel so bad and people can clearly see it's a baby. The wedding was for DH's distant old college friend so it wasn't a huge deal if we didn't make it but I felt so bad!

Our weekend was fun. My cousin and her boyfriend are here from the Netherlands so we hosted them on Saturday night. Then we had a big family dinner at my mom's on Sunday where we broke the news to the family. Since everyone already "had a feeling," it wasn't much of a surprise, but it was definitely good to get it out there.

Had a great weekend until last night. Dh Nd I got into a fight. He is now sleeping on the couch and we haven't spoken all day. So I'm blah right now. I can get over a argument really fast, but hes so stubborn so well see how long this one lasts.

Went to a wedding on Saturday where we broke the good news to our extended family. That was so fun! Everyone was so happy for us. On Sunday we went for a hike and it was gorgeous in the mountains with all the fall color. @MaiTaiBeth I hope your mom is doing okay - sorry to hear it was a rough weekend! 

I'm looking forward to this Thursday for my first prenatal appointment with my new midwife!
