I was crossing the street with DD1 to get to our car after taking her to a halloween festival with my mom. In order to get to our car, we had to cross over railroad tracks and cross a street. It was raining so we were running and DD1 slipped and fell as we were crossing the railroad tracks and got her elbow stuck in the tracks. I panicked immediately and started yelling for help because the train comes through there very frequently. Fortunately 2 off-duty paramedics were walking past and immediately came to help and they along with my mom were able to get her to relax her arm and pull it out. I was shaking after it happened and started crying, imagining the worse. I still feel sick thinking about it. We have tracks near our house that we cross frequently to go to the park or for a walk never really thinking about it. It's going to be a while before I feel comfortable crossing them now.

That is so scary! I'm glad she's ok. And I'm glad there were people near you that were able to help.
Glad she's ok!
