Have you started working out yet? My dd is 4 weeks old and I have a ds who is 16 months and all I have done so far is taking them on walks. What do u do to get some exercise in?

  • 5 weeks today and I have been back working out for 2 weeks now, I started out slow and am now back at bootcamp as of this past Tuesday. I worked out everyday when I was preggo if that means anything .. I did have a decent tear but as soon as that was better I got back at it and have way more energy- good luck mommies :)

  • Starting Monday I want to go to the gym in the evening when DH gets home from work. I hate working out at night but that's the only time I'm able to.
  • I've been taking it easy so far. I'm 4 weeks pp tomorrow. I've heard of people setting themselves back by rushing into an exercise routine too early. I plan on doing mild exercise next week, but waiting til 6 weeks to really start my routine. I plan on doing HIIT a lot since I can do it at home in a short amount of time with good results

I have been counting the days to running :) I really enjoy it, not just to lose weight. Of course, I will play it by ear!
  • Oops forgot to mention I am due this weekend.
  • No routine exercises yet, but I do wear my DD as I walk around. I feel like that definitely helps me shed some pounds since it adds weight and forces my body to work a little harder.
Also, I have noticed my arms getting more muscular from breastfeeding her without any boppy, pillow, or any support other than my arm. I have never had nice arm muscles...so this makes me a very happy mama :)

I had my son 2 weeks ago and already feel like myself. I had a long induction, but a fast and easy delivery. I didn't even tear. Regardless, I've been taking it easy. I walk around the development with my LO in the jogging stroller. When I'm 6 weeks pp, I will begin to work out and jog, as I'm a jogger.
  • I am waiting for 6 week pp appt to get cleared for excercise. So far have been taking DD on walks but that's about it
