DS has horrible gas

I don't know why or what to do for him.  This has been going on for 2 weeks.  He'll get these attacks of horrible gas that makes him writhe in pain and then he sounds like a grown man when he finally passes it and it is stinky!  I give him gas drops but it keeps coming back.  We are still BFing and I haven't changed my diet at all.  Initially I thought it was the yogurt or cheese he was eating, but I cut him back to a bland diet and he was still gassy.  Any ideas?  I just had to rock him back to sleep cause the gas pain woke him up.

Do you know how to help him work the gas out; by bicycling his legs or pushing them both into his chest and pausing?

You might try to get him to lay on his tummy.  That will help work out the gas some.  Is he constipated?  Prune juice might help if so.  I would keep going with the gas drops at every feeding too.  You can't give them too much mylicon, and there are no side effects, so it can't hurt.  I hope he feels better soon!
