Moose or hockey player?

Those are the two options we're going with as Halloween costumes for Evie. For the moose costume, I was going to sew felt antlers on a brown zippy/hoodie, brown pants, black socks, and a little tail. Maybe a black nose.

For the hockey player, she'd wear her Penguins jersey, carry around a mini hockey stick, and wear her penguin (actual penguin) fuzzy touque.

 

The moose was my idea, the hockey player was my husbands idea - I'm clearly partial to my own genius

I think both are cute ideas, but I would go with the moose only because if Evie is anything like Kate, she will be inflicting some major damage with a hockey stick.

I vote moose. I am all for outfits that incorporate clothes you already have and clothes that will keep them warm. I've looked at a lot of the costumes for toddler's and I'm thinking there's no way my kid will tolerate them!
