Well hello symptoms...

First pregnancy here...6 w, 4 d based on my estimation (still a week until we see the doctor!) but OMG the symptoms have sure arrived!  I thought things were a little funky last week and then this weekend I started a neverending hangover (of course, I have not been drinking).  This is terrible!  And then around 6 o'clock this evening I was so exhausted I HAD to take a 3 hr nap.  Fortunately I feel as though I'll be able to go back to bed because I still feel tired.  Definitely bizaare and not used to feeling this way!  I hope the exhaustion isn't like this every day because I am a teacher and run an after school curricular activity, so napping is really not an option during the day!

Any tips on how to deal with exhaustion if napping isn't an option?

  • I feel ya! I'm a teacher and getting through the day right now is HARD! I have found that making sure I'm hydrated helps some. I'm a day further than you and I started having symptoms last week. They are definitely tough to deal with. I don't have any great advice, but I understand how you feel!
