s/o Winter Wedding

I have been meaning to ask for some fashion advice from parenting for a while.  I am wearing this dress to a wedding in November

I have little to no fashion sense. What would you wear over it to keep warm? A black cardigan? Also, shoes - should I just stick with black shoes or would something else work? I am the sister of the groom, so I want to look decent for the photos!

I'd also wear a black heel.

A cardigan would be cute. A scarf would be a good addition, too. But probably not both the cardigan and scarf together.

And because that is a fairly neutral dress, it'd be cute to wear colored heels.

So I had to google "pashmina" because I am that clueless. But I get it now - I think that would look good!

I would probably default to black, because I don't know what other color would be considered complimentary - any suggestions?

I think a cardigan would work well...probablyin black. If you were going to go with colored heels maybe a purple? I think the dress has a yellow hue to it and purple looks really good with yellow I like contrasting colors. A gold shoe might look nice as well.

If I understand correctly, it is suppose to be purple. I think that is what the bridesmaids are wearing. But it is an Air Force wedding - my brother will be in his uniform, as will most of the groomsmen. And they told me they are also incorporating the Air Force blue into their colors. Honestly, I am a little confused on what it will look like.
