PJ's

Another question that I am curious about is PJ's! About how many does your child own right now? I seem to have a baby PJ obsession and am always buying LO more. DH thinks I am nuts! They are just too cute to pass up, haha. I am hoping I am not the only PJ obsessed mama out there.

    3- Fleece Footie PJ's

2- Pairs of slippers (she never wears because I always put her in footie PJ's)

  • I'm obsessed too. I think she has approximately 7 two piece long sleeve sets and a few one pieces.

  • In her current size: 2 pairs of footed fleece, one pair of cotton footless one piece, two pairs of two piece cotton.  Right now it is cold so she always wears the fleece.  She has a few pairs of them in 18m so I am debating if I should buy more 12m or just let her wear some that are a bit to big.

  • We currently own 10 (well, 11 if you count our Halloween Jammie's) two piece PJ's and 5 pair of footless one piece PJ's. way too many, yet I continue to look at more!

We have a lot. I think each kid has 10 pairs, maybe more. I love PJs.

Me too! I have to be realistic though and stop at what we have, haha. My husband thinks I have a problem.

C has a ton of PJ's. They're just so cute. He goes back and forth between 12/18 month sizes right now so he has probably 20-30 in his PJ drawer, but probably 10-15 in each size.
Agreed. I don't go out scouting new PJ's but if I am shopping for something and I see cute PJ's I usually get them without a doubt.

  • We usually have 6 of whatever size they are wearing.

  • Right now...two heavy blanket sleepers (that rarely get used, bought them for camping), two fleece sleepers, four lightweight cotton sleepers that will need to be retired soon since it's getting too chilly for them.  All footie zip-ups because that's the kind I like best.

    I never have enough pjs.

  • I only do laundry every 10 days or so. So probably 11 or 12 pair. Only 3 footie ones because she is so long that I have to get 2Ts in order to be long enough then they are ridiculo wide. The rest are sets - 6 short sleeved pair so she isn't wearing those right now. I am mad because I bought them at the beginning of the summer in a size up since she was growing so fast and she slowed down, and only wore them a handful of times.

Also, I bought her Halloween PJs after the holiday last year and was irritated when she could get into them in like March. Ya, well she can still wear them since they are footless. Score!

    Kid #1 - 09/03/12
    Kid #2 - maybe???
    Diagnosed with Severe Ashermans
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
  • Hmm my kid is apparently deprived. He probably only has maybe 3 pairs of actual pajamas and then 3 pairs of Carters onesies/cotton pants that I use as PJs sometimes, but I also send him to DC in them other times too (not after having worn them overnight).

  • She has 5 2 piece long sleeved ones. I need to find some warmer ones for the winter. She can't wear the zipper footies because her thighs/booty are too umm.....thick.

  • I must have a deprived child too, I think he has 7 pjs in 12mo right now, but I've been putting him in a onesie, pants and socks lately bc he wears the same clothes to DC each week bc he gets so "dirty" there I don't want him to ruin nice clothes at DC. I like him to wear his clothes more then 1x so I've been putting him in them at night...weird I know but it's my quirk I guess

Ha we have that problem too. Also, since he isn't walking yet, even the ones that fit him are tough because they bunch up with he crawls.

We are right there with ya! We tried some on her tonight and she started freaking out because she couldn't move well. They looked like leggings!!

  • In his current size, 5 pairs. Two are long sleeved with pants and three short sleeved with pants. Plus two pairs of stretch cotton pants that we use as pj pants in a pinch.

  • We are in between sizes right now, but she has 5 two piece and 2 footed pjs in12 months and 4 footed pjs in 18 months. Feeling like I am low on pjs after this discussion.
  • More PJs = less laundry! We need more PJs!

  • Way too fucking many. I have a problem. She has at least 6 fleece footed sleepers, 3 pairs of two piece jams, and two footless one piece sleepers.
  • 2 footed pjs and 2 sleep sacks. I want more since dh likes to leave her in her pjs which makes me do laundry more. I really want some 2 piece sets but I'm not sure if they have them in 6 -9 months.

  • Don't know the exact number, but we have at ton b/w hand me downs from my son & from my friend's daughter. She will also wear a long sleeved onsie & cotton pants as pjs in a pinch.

  • In this size, probably 4 or so. I just buy them in a variety of sizes. Now, how many I own is a different matter. I have a small obsession with footed jammies for me too. Speaking of which, I'm off to change into my ones with shark feet.

  • We had tons of hand-me-down pjs until she became size 12 months. At which point, I had to go buy. Went to Carter's and got four, but she seems like footies, so we really only rotate two (the other two don't have them). Clearly my issue is smocked clothing and bows, not PJs.

  • We have about 6 fleece footed PJs that fit right now. I just packed away all the cotton ones as it is getting chilly 'round here, and they wont fit by the time it warms up (there were prob another 6 of those).

  • @jayja2007 Carter's has two piece sets in 6-9.
  • I am embarrassed to say, too many to count. I buy a lot of PJ pants at the Goodwill and pair them with white tee's. I love some baby pajamas. I will have to count tonight out of curiousity.

  • I love PJ's for DS but I try to limit myself. He won't keep socks on so we have all footie PJ's right now. I think he has about 5 pairs in 18 months and 8-9 in 24. I didn't want to buy more 18 because I wasn't sure how long he'd be in them!

  • DD really needs more.  She has about 8 one piece ones right now but they are 9 mos and she is finally starting to outgrow them.

She only has 2 that are 12 month size with feet that are fleece and 2 without feet.  I need to get her like 4 more pair with feet in 12 month for winter.  I'll probably tell people PJs as an Xmas gift option as well.
