Would you hire a photographer for your birth? ICAN of Nashville meeting!

edited October 2013 in Tennessee Babies

How do you feel about the images you have from your birth? Would you want to hire a photographer if you knew you were scheduling a surgical birth? This month's ICAN meeting we will be discussing how our birth photos and videos affect how we feel about the experience. We'll have a cesarean mom (or two!) present to talk about how the decision to have someone document their births affected their recovery, and birth film-maker Kalli Pavon will be there to share her experience and the feedback she's gotten from moms, especially from cesarean moms.

When & Where: Saturday Oct 19th at 7pm @ The Nesting Place, 605 Berry Rd, Nashville TN 37204

What to Bring: Please bring any birth photos and video clips you'd like to share with the group! As always, ICANoN's monthly meetings are FREE, but please bring a box of tissues, toilet paper, or paper towels to donate to The Nesting Place for letting us use their beautiful office space.

Who Should Come: Cesarean moms, homebirth moms, and everyone in between. Anyone interested in healthy pregnancy, birth, and recovery is welcome to attend, including doulas and other birth professionals. While childcare is not provided, children with quiet toys and babes-in-arms are welcome.
