When DD is tired or hungry she will hit us which I know is totally normal for her age. We tell her firmly no, that we don't hit, that it hurts and makes us sad.
But, she will also sometimes say 'bye bye' with the tone of a smart ass tween, and wave bye bye like "go away," and I have no idea how to react. Like I don't think she gets the concept of being "rude," and sometimes she does this when she sincerely wants private i.e. Pooping time but I don't know how to react to it if I even should at all.
Then, in other situations, she will bite her own arm- any ideas? React, ignore...?
Thanks for any insights!
