Babies: 0 - 3 Months

Dream feed

Do you do it? What time, and how long do they sleep after that? Do you think it's helping? Do you wake them, or leave them as asleep as possible? I never did it with DS 1, but a couple of nights I fed DS at 11 and he slept past 5, but it isn't working all the time so trying to play around with it and at least give it a shot. He goes to bed between 8-9, DF around 11, has been still waking around 2:30-3. Just looking for some insight. TIA!

Generally it usually means feeding the baby asleep, usually before you go to bed, between 10-11 pm, in hopes of giving you a longer stretch of sleep. For example, instead of putting them down at 8, if they did a 4 hour stretch, and having them wake at 12, you'd put down at 8, feed at 11, go to sleep, and then they could do a 4 hour stretch until, say 3.
