I am not due until October 23rd. Went in for my 37 week appointment. Cervix is softening but not dialated. I got tested about 16 days ago for preclampsa. Came back and everything was fine. Today my blood pressure was high and I gained 5 lbs. so she now admitted me to get tested. Just gave a bunch of blood. Do u think there is a chance they will induce me?

I think it will completely depend on the results of your blood work. If your cervix is still pretty hard and you haven't dilated then I hope not. Otherwise you will be in for a miserable time!

There's a chance. There's also a chance that everything will come back normal & they will kick you out. :-??

They shouldn't induce you based on this alone... Softening is normal but it Doesent mean anything necessarily. Gl and keep us posted!!

Got released. Blood pressure was good. Blood tests. Some elevated things. Bed rest and peeing in a jug for 24 hours

I couldn't for the life of me think of why I was mentioned in this post, but it all makes sense now

My due date is the 23rd as well!!! Eek! Glad everything turned out ok!
