Baby Names

in 1st Trimester

Hi I'm new here!  Just got my BFP this past weekend.  I have been thinking about names. Anyone have  names picked out yet?  I'm thinking Aubrey Grace or Evelyn Grace for a girl or Nicholas James for a boy.

    Evelyn Grace is beautiful. Nicholas James is a good name too.

    There is also a Baby Name board if you are interested.

    Beautiful names! We just found out today that we are having a boy and his name is Alexander William! If he had been a girl, it would have been Anna Rebecca.

    04/01/13 - BFP at 4wks

    05/30/13 - MMC - BO @ 12wks 5d

    08/29/13 - BFP @ 4wks 4d

    09/17/13 - 7wks 2d - Normal HB Detected! Baby measuring perfect for dates and positioning!  

    10/23/13 - 12wks 3d - Perfect NT scan! HB 167 & baby wriggling, waving & yawning!

    12/17/13 - 20wks 2 d - We're having a beautiful baby girl! Go Team Pink!

    05/03/14 - Bobbie Gloria was born at 39+6 weighing 6lb 14oz!

    My SIL told my FIL they wanted to name my niece Emily Rose and he said "Oh, no what do want to name her that for?"  That is her name, everyone got over it.
    That is the reason that I did not tell anyone the names we picked out.

    surprise BFP 7/12/05 = missed m/c and D&C 9/28/05; TTC since 10/06; 1/16/08-D&C to remove bicournate uterus; 4 IUI's = BFN, 2 IVF's = BFFN. 8/5/09 Surprise BFP!! = another missed m/c and d&c 9/28/09 IVF #3 May 2010 = BFP!!!!  Beautiful DD born 1/16/2012.  8/1/13 Surprise BFP!!!  EDD 4/13/14.

    My husband and I had picked out names before I even got pregnant, and when we called his parents to tell them I was pregnant, we told them the names. Originally my husband wanted to name a boy James William and we agreed on Anna Rebecca for a girl. My in laws asked about names and when we told them they told us they were bland and common. Because James and Jamie (my husband and his sister) are SUCH creative and unique names. Drives me nuts! If the parents of the baby are happy with the name, that's all that should matter!

    I love your name choices! I think really unique names and so far, we like Shelby for a girl and Maverick for a boy. (Kinda strange I know....)

    When we told my MIL we would name the baby Lux Leigh if it was a girl she was like "oh....well that's interesting." I could careless what people think about our name choices. As long as we like them I am set.

    I also think it's weird when people tell you they don't like it or think its weird. You didn't ask for their opinion so keep it to yourself. Those people are the reason why so many people won't share names which is really sad to me.
