Anyone else's baby instantly stop kicking the second you say anything or try to interact with him/her? DH and I are starting to think she doesn't like us very much or is a massive introvert. Boo.
ha. so strange right? The only thing I can think of is that they are distracted by the new stimulus - voice, poking, etc. and stop whatever they're doing to take in the new sensation.
DS also stops moving around when DH places his hand on my belly. I think it has something to do with the change of temperature for us, though, because DH has really warm hands.
My boyfriend asked if I made up how much this little boy moves. I tell him how he is bouncing all the time, he gets all excited and puts his hand on my belly and suddenly baby stops.
Yes, most times she stops moving if DH is the one trying to feel. But she almost always moves if it's DD who wants to feel her -- it's uncanny! They are developing a sisterly relationship already.
My baby usually stops moving around when anyone touches my belly, even me! H has felt her a few times, but she gets very shy when someone touches my belly.
