Has anyone's doctor done this/ discussed this with them? Or any BTDT moms have any experience with it? My doctor mentioned it to me and it's got my head spinning.
@deedee1017, yes i am having it next week. they said it's to measure your pelvis and baby size to give the odds of should dystocia happening to the baby. I think it's kinda BS, but i was scheduled for a growth scan anyway.
@cousinvicki I had a growth ultrasound (and risk assessment) but I'm kind of side eyeing this whole screening. I mean if it was so accurate wouldn't more doctors use it? It seems you and I are the only ones who were offered it.

yeah i don't get it either , unless it's just really new? i am going to wait and see what it shows but i already made it clear to my OB they can 'recommend' whatever they want, doesn't mean i am going for it heh

Yeah I know. My doctor gave me the info for an elective c section and wants to see me back after I think about it for the weekend. I mean, I'm on the border of low/moderate risk. Its a big decision to make based on a little bit of info. Pelvis size isn't even taken into consideration. Just another thing to worry about.
