intro: 6 weeks and SUPER excited

Hello everyone! We are six weeks along and can hardly stand to wait two more weeks until our first appointment. Just a few facts about me:

-My husband and I have been married since March 2013

-We first conceived by accident in November 2012, lost the baby at 12 weeks in January 2013

-I have two seven-year-old stepsons who live out of state with their mother, who (unfortunately) has primary custody

-This will be our first baby together and we are absolutely thrilled

-I have Type 1 Diabetes, and I've never had good control of it, so this makes the pregnancy a little more scary for me

-First ultrasound: October 10th. 

Anything else? I am happy to be here and looking to make friends!

Oh, also, we're hoping for a girl but just praying he/she is healthy!

Congrats! I'm almost 8wks...first U/S on Oct 1st...very excited. I have 7 yr old twin girls. Married May 2013, and this would be my husbands first baby.
