chicago peeps- restaurant recs

girls weekend, staying on Michigan centrally located- any restaurant recs that are within walking distance or short cab ride? Something  fun, not too stuffy, not too high end, entrees in the $20s-$30s I would say?

I don't live there but just do an occasional day visit. Two ideas: RL Restaurant https://www.rlrestaurant.com/menu.asp (I have not eaten there but lots of people at work always eat there).Signature Room at the 95th has amazing views of the skyline (we just went to the Signature Lounge) - even the bathroom has fantastic views!  I just went there for drinks so we could see the views.(www.signatureroom.com) The last time I went I had my DD with me so we had to eat at American Girl    Have a great time!

My cousin is a partial owner of moonshine in wicker park...so I would recommend there.

Oops sorry I'm not from Chicago...but my cousin does own that restaurant. So I'm not sure about distance

Try Quartino or Frontera Grill! Also Cantina Laredo, Purple Pig, or hub 51

I second Quartino! It's my fave Italian restaurant. Hub 51 is great too.

Central Standard, Sienna Tavern, and Table 52 are higher-end favorites.  For a more dive-y place, I love Blue Agave
