Cleaning wooden blocks?

I bought a bunch of wooden blocks for DD at a garage sale and was wondering how I should go about cleaning them. I had a friend suggest soaking them in bleach water, but I am not sure if that would be the best approach. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thanks!

I was going to suggest bleach water too. It's what all childcare facilities use. 1 part bleach to 100 parts water.

Hmmm, I never thought of this. DS has wood blocks but so far he is the only one to play with them. Guess I didn't think of cleaning them like I clean the rest of his plastic toys. Thanks for posting!

I bought some wooden fridge magnets for DS to play with while he's in the kitchen with me. They were new but I wanted to give them a wash anyway as he would be most likely be gnawing on them. I did a test one to make sure the colours wouldn't run then I filled the sink and washed them in hot dish-soapy water.
